My current body of work takes the form of representational drawings, lithographic prints, and sculptures of single knotted rubber bands. The twists and turns, flexibility and beauty, and symbolic potential of these knots have united to attract my visual interest since 2006. I think of this series of work as exploring the Thai phrase “Puk-Mai-Tri,” which means tie, bond, relationship between people, cultures, countries, etc.

I am submitting knot sculptures which were modeled in clay, and cast in Aqua- Resin, with bronze patina or (sculpture “Stand- Up” which is in process of casting) with possibly color spray as a final finish; pencil drawings and lithograph prints.
