Panel Discussion:DISCOVERY OF THE PAST AND PRESENT THROUGH ARCHIVED COLLECITONS

Ed Christin’s focus is historical photographic archives. He is the agent for the Andy Sweet and Charles Trainor Collections, as well as the photographers Gary Monroe, Karl Stoecker, and Robin Hill. He was the archivist and agent for Bunny Yeager Photography from 2010-2016. Ed Christin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pace University, New York.

Lauren Miller Walsh is both the chief archivist and the art and design expert at Glenn Horowitz Bookseller in New York, where she represents a wide range of creative professionals—-artists, designers, architects, photographers, and authors—-in the sale of their archives to research institutions worldwide. She received her Master’s in the History of Decorative Arts and Design from Parsons/Cooper-Hewitt, and specialized training in photographic history and processes at Rare Book School at the University of Virginia. Additionally, she has presented papers and participated in panels both nationally and internationally, and, prior to her graduate studies, was a practicing graphic designer, with a focus on print work.
